Yes, the facilities that are available with emulation can be used by the 
guest, of cours.

TCG = Tiny Code Generator. It's the JIT CPU emulation of QEMU. It's enabled 
by default, so unless you specified "-accel kvm" you are using TCG. KVM can 
only be used on real s390x hardware.
