vmx_init and svm_init... are both called on all x86/x64 systems?

vmx_init and svm_init... are both called on all x86/x64 systems?

I'd like to understand if both vmx_init and svm_init are called on all AMD and Intel systems, or is there logic somewhere that results in only one of them being called? Both are compiled and linked into x86 systems.
