I'm currently using VMware Workstation on Windows x64.
The main reason I'm using VMware Workstation is the integrated USB hub that lets me connect USB devices to the guest instead of the host.
Using this feature, I can safely connect any USB device to my machine without fearing that a misbehaving or wicked driver is being installed on my host machine. When I plug a USB device into my machine, I'm asked whether to connect the device to the host or to a guest OS. If I select "guest", the device will not be registered with the host and will be directly connected/forwarded to the guest OS.
Does Qemu provide the same feature set?
Your answer is appreciated.
