mprotect fails, cannot run any guest |

Hello,
After an update, I cannot run Qemu virtual machines anymore (Alpine
and OpenBSD guests).
Here is the error I get:
Failed to start QEMU binary /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 for probing:
qemu-system-x86_64: qemu_mprotect__osdep: mprotect failed: Permission
denied qemu-system-x86_64: mprotect of jit buffer: Permission denied
In what way can my configuration mess with mprotect?
For the record, I went from Alpine 3.15 to 3.20, a few years forward.
My kernel is still from 2017, Alpine apparently never changed it:
Linux phy0 4.9.65-1-hardened #2-Alpine SMP Mon Nov 27 15:36:10 GMT
2017 x86_64 Linux
I tried to search for the error on search engines, in the documentation
of both my distribution and Qemu, but nothing came up.
Thanks,
Have a good day
