Testing vIOMMU

Hi,

For a research project we would like to test the behavior of guest 
operating systems when handling device events when using the IOMMU. For 
testing on real devices there is pcileech, but is there a similar tool 
for qemu when using vIOMMU? Some kind of API that lets us perform DMA, 
or will we need to modify qemu itself for our tests?
