Hi Alyssa,

thanks a lot for that update. Just building qemu-system-x86_64 from the
latest git master (which gave me some v4.0.0-rc4 tag) produces a binary
which works also with SMP.

In the meantime I had found https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/1798451
reflecting that issue, but no activity there.
