[Qemu-discuss] Direct access to the memory behind the framebuffer

Hi all,

is it possible in any way to get access to the framebuffer qemu uses 
internally?
I'd like to add a custom remote desktop protocol on top of this without 
touching too many of the qemu internals.

Is it maybe possible to pass an opened file descriptor to qemu and have 
it writing the framebuffer memory to this file?
