I'm using qemu for a quick test of isos of a Devuan Jessie system
created by refractasnapshot.
Why does qemu insist on putting a floppy icon on the desktop and
entering a menu item for a non-existent floppy in Thunar? This file
does not exist on the imaged system but pops up in qemu.
hwinfo --short --floppy
floppy:
/dev/fd0 Floppy Disk
Nuking that file has no effect.
Is there a way to get rid of this phantom floppy?
FWIW, Virtual Box boots the isos as expected without any reference to
floppy disk (but is a bit cumbersome to deal with).
It's always the little things that get to you . . .
Thanks,
