[Qemu-discuss] status of CPU hot-add/hot-remove for x86-64 on qemu?

Hi,

I'm just wondering where things are at as far as hot-plugging and hot-unplugging 
CPUs for x86-64 guests on x86-64 hosts with kvm hardware virtualization.

Are there specific versions of qemu and the virtual machine that are required? 
Is there documentation on how to use it?
Does libvirt support it yet?

Any information would be helpful.
