I have no idea what nvdimm is, but it seems like in 2.6.0 it is called 
just "nvdimm", not "pc-nvdimm":

$ qemu-system-x86_64 -device help 2>&1 | grep nvd
name "nvdimm", desc "DIMM memory module"
