Hello, I noticed some Hyper-V features being introduced/improved in KVM: http://lkml.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/1601.1/03494.html I'm interested in Windows 7 guest performance. All I could find on the web is this link from mid 2014 http://blog.wikichoon.com/2014/07/enabling-hyper-v-enlightenments-with-kvm.html - none of the mentioned hv_* parameters are working with qemu 2.4.1. Qemu's man page makes no mention of this either. Are KVM's Hyper-V features used automatically or need to be enabled manually for Windows guests? What do they mean for users of virtualized Windows - advantages, disadvantages, misc? Is there any documentation on them? Please discuss. --
