[Qemu-discuss] Segment load issue

Hi,

Firstly: Hello to all users :)
Secondly: I am pretty new to Qemu, please forgive me if i ask some dumb 
or RTFM question.

So the question:
I am using Qemu in a Win7 32bit environment with IDA with an ARM 
project, bare metal, no OS. The target system has a 64M RAM block at 
0x40000000. As i start debugging the process, things are loaded OK 
except this segment, which is empty. the elfimg file IDA creates 
contains valid data for this segment. It is even loaded to Qemu's 
address space (confirmed in Winhex), but it seems Quemu still treats it 
as an empty space.
Is it due to some limitation of Qemu or config issue or maybe a bug?
