It only works if they are the same network (same IP addresses, a
traceroute from one to the other should not show a router hop on the
way), and only if they are only combined on ONE machine on the entire
network (typically the router), loops in networks tend to work very badly.
I mentioned that they are combined on routers just to show why I think
that adding wlan0 + someQemuMachine to a bridge should work.
