also

how do
Red... SCSI controller
and
Red... pass-through controller
drivers differ from one another?

how would this difference be reflected on guemu-host side?

hi everybody

from brief few looks I took at some notes it seems advisable to use "virtio" for both storage & network

my question would be, having it usual way:
-drive file="${imgFile}",index=0,media=disk

is it possible to simply switch over to
"virtio"?
if yes then how to do it, I'd presume one hast to first install
"virtio" drivers in guest and then reboot, right?

also, has anybody got any numbers? just curios,
"virtio" vs "standard" performance

cheers
