I see no error message in the output.
This is too complicated to me.
My hints:
- You have to print the entire first line of the data and see whether your formats and the data fit (like in the last century).
- What about entering the .dat file into a spreadsheet to see whether the data import well ? Look wether any difficulties with decimal delimiters, or date-time variables appear.
Good luck
ftrSorry, of course I meant .sav files. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. I guess I can add file attachments when posting via email, so I'll give it a try. .sps and .pdf should be attached now. I'd like to use PSPP to analyze the resulting data - as I've done before. However, I can't seem to manage to convert the LimeSurvey export files (SPSS 16+ format), into a functioning .spv file. But strangely enough, I don't get any error messages when I execute the syntax file (.sps), the output file looks fine to my eyes - but the data set window of pspp appears empty. So, no error messages, but no data either - and no .spv file I could save.PSPP has no support for reading or writing .spv files.
