got the same error for the moment...
check in config.log, if you get
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_info'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_pcm_tell'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_open'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_seekable'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_pcm_seek'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_clear'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_pcm_total'
/usr/local/lib/libmustux.so: undefined reference to `ov_read'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
it's because you haven't OGG Vorbis libs installed.
As Luciano requested it, ./configure should check the presence of these libs so
we can do conditional compiling, so you still can use protux with OGG if you
want to...

the best way to rebuild configure is
autoreconf --force
you may need to use the
-I /usr/local/share/aclocal/
option (maybe with another path) to specify where your autotool macros are
installed.
But if you don't have OGG Vorbis installed, it won't help to just rebuild
configure... until configure is able to check these libs.
i'll try to look at this today before going back to the army... but i don't
know if i'll got enough time...
