I think explicit errors are much better than implicit misbehaviors.
And this solution is a good short-term fix.
But for Poke, as a programming language, this feels like an unnatural
restriction and IMHO it should be fixed in future.
The good thing about this solution is that the future fix will not break
older codes.
And IMHO it'd be nice to have a bunch of tests to document the **natural**
and **desired** behaviors of Poke programming language in a separate
directory (e.g., `testsuite.future`). These will act as a reminder for
developers. Developers can run them by, e.g., `make check-dev`.
The long-term aim is to migrate them to the `testsuite` directory.
