Hey.
    
    This is a temporary hack as mentioned in the commit message. It will allow 
the
    user to compile Poke when the gettext version on the system does not 
provide a
    libtextstyle with hyperlink support.

Very nice.  Several people indeed complained about getting link-time
errors because their gettext package included libtextstyle but without
hyperlink support.

Glad this is fixed!  Applied to master.
