Can't you add levels to the subject classification? Then the user could say
this test is for school A (1), language arts(2), French (3), second year (4)
first period (5)
So at least 5 levels.

Default you view now all the questions,rather impressing when the database
grows..
 why not set a small subset as default, like your math-example?

This is a planned change for a future version. 
Unfortunatly there's no easy way to do it, I'll have
to go through every single sourfce file and replace
every sql query.  It wouldn't be hard to do, just very
tedious and boring.
