Yes, that's right. Maybe instead of using a database you could just upload
the file to a directory.

Add the url?  Like with an a href tag in the question
text?  That would work fine because it's just
referencing the file on the server.  The part that
doesn't work well yet is storing the image in the
mysql database and referencing from there.
