Hi alan,

Where is your server located?  Are you running a server (IIS, or Apache) on your
desktop or are you going to a server at an ISP?  If an ISP, then you'd probably
have to contact them since permissions to the appropriate directories would have
to be granted.  For example, images are stored in a "temp" directory on windows,
and a "tmp" directory on Linux/Unix.  In windows, if the "IUSR_MACHINENAME" (the
Internet user account) doesn't have permissions to write the temp directory,
then image uploads may be affected.

of course, the "disclaimer" here is that I don't know what your environment is
and the variables involved, so I can only guess :)
