looks like it's using the regular prefs system which picks the lang
from the users prefs, but on login screen there's no user so it's
falling back to a hardcoded default of 'en'?

I don't know if this is the "right" way, but you can change that hard
coded default to 'de' in phpgwapi/inc/class.translation_sql.inc.php
line 48 and see what happens.  Seem like there should be a setup pref
for this but I don't see one.

This is my first post, so please be gentle :-) 
I am having troubles getting the login screen work with my default
language (Portuguese).
It seems that no matter what I do, all messages/buttons shown in the
login screen keep appearing in English.
I could use some pointers on what I should check to resolve this issue.
