That could be right ... sorry, as I said I am far from a calendar guru.

The @ suppresses the error ... for the simple reason that the holiday
file many not present, and so will halt the execution, which is
generally not the desired outcome :)

Yes, because months are common across all across all apps, so it it put
there, so i does not need to be entered/changed multiple times - and
also to prevent db bloat.
