yes indeed port number it was, I changed the port number, and now
notification from calendar and the pop3 works fine,I was unable to get both
to work at the same time, it was one or the other, turns out it was my port,
so that brings me to this question:

In settings I have checked the boxes for sent items and trash, now aside
from the trash icon, I have no view for sent/trash folders. If I click them,
when the page reloads after submitting, those boxes are cleared and I see no
folders in the email app.

in settings what does the Enable utf-7 encoded folder names do for me?

When I delete an email it still stays I changed the refresh from 5 minutes
to 30 secs. but it still remains till I at least hit the email link again
after a minute or so, but if I go to delete again I receive an invalid
response.

ideas ?
