You could give the team leaders/manager (or nayone else) of the sales
staff the ability to edit their calendars.  This can even be done by
groups.  Have 1 group Sales Reps and another Sales Managers and then in
Admin->Group Admin->Sale Managers->Calendar ACL (the little blue dot)
you can grant full rights against Sales Reps.
