Here is some additional information about the problem:
Client:
W2K Pro. SP2 and all updates
IE 6.0.2600 (all updates)
or
Client:
W2K Pro. SP2 and all updates
Mozilla 1.21 (all updates)
or
Client:
Red Hat 8.0 up to date
Default Blue Curve GUI
Mozilla 1.0.1
The Server is running:
Red Hat 8.0 updated
kernel 2.4.18-24.8.0
Apache (httpd) 2.0.40-11
PHP 4.2.2
MySQL 3.23.54a-4
phpGroupWare 0.9.14.001
qmail 1.03
qmail-scanner 1.16
clamav 0.54
courier-imap 1.70
omail-admin 0.98.1
vmailmgr 0.96.9
ck-ledger 0.5.1
So far it is only being used for testing. No real data. At first I was not
aware
that filemanager had been replaced by phpWebHosting so I installed filemanager.
After installing and having problems with that I checked the mailing lists I
found that file manager had been replaced with phpWH. I then started testing
with
phpWH and found that I still had this same problem.
Problem: .DOC and .PDF files get corrupted when uploaded. Text and .SXW files
do
not seem to be affected.
After finding that phpWH would not create directories for me I did a complete
re-install of the phpGroupWare and applications, but I kept the same MySQL
database (I already have a couple of users setup that are testing phpGW). I
did however clear out the phpgw_vfs table in the database. At that point phpWH
started creating directories, but I still have the same problem with .DOC and
.PDF files.
Is anybody else having this problem? From what I have seen I love this app
(phpGroupWare), but I really need the file sharing ability.
Any help is appreciated........
Thanks Alejandro for the reply...........
