no worries, it's a common missconception abotu web apps.  The times it's true is
when the web user needs write access, in such a case it's better to chown the 
files
than make them world writtable.

Courious, what do you use to send email?  in at least anglemail there are about 
5
times many blank lines as seems intentional.
