Thanks Jean-Pierre,

that's strange, there was a hostname configured already, but after I changed it to another value, sending messages works...
I even could change it back to the old value and it still works.

Hi,

using phpgw 0.9.14, I'm wondering, where $GLOBALS['phpgw_info']['server']['hostname'] is (or better: should be)
set.

This is because I am having problems using the email app sending
mails. I keep getting the following error when sending messages (there
is no hostname sent with EHLO)...

Array
(
    [code] => 502
    [msg] => ESMTP command error

    [desc] =>
    [server_chat] =>
c->s: fsockopen(192.168.102.21,25,0,,5) ; returned: Resource id #29
s->c: 220 nlkhtest ESMTP
c->s: EHLO
s->c: 502 ESMTP command error

)

If you login in the /setup/index.php script and go to "edit current
configuration" you can set it in the first field below "host
configuration". It's labeled "Enter the hostname of the machine on
which this server is running:" here.
