I have a P3 600 w/ 512 meg ram and IE works fine and Mozilla only slows on a 
couple
of the more complicated pages.  If you have a really old video card that will 
slow
it down a lot too.  I don't think any browser is going to better, even the older
Netscapes were very slow even on less complex pages.  I'd recomend trying to get
more memory at the very least.  I find I need 256 as a minium.
