Ok, i've found some other sort of bugs in LDAP code, and i'm definetely
using phpgw to create account and gq (an LDAP client for gnome) to edit
and correct these.

If i insert some name (very common in italian) with ì' charset, like

        Adriana dall'Acqua

every time i go through the insert form, i got an \ prepended to the ',
so the first inser got 

        dall\'Acqua

a modification got

        dall\\'Acqua

and so on. I wait some time before firing up another bug on savannah.
