    This is peculiar.  It sounds almost as if you don't have write access to
your database.  Are you able to edit categories and such in other
applications?  Is it possible that phpgw is using a db user that doesn't
have write access?

    From your message it sounds like you're doing everything right, though
it was unclear whether or not you created the anonymous account using the
phpgw account manager.  Have you done that?

    If so than my only other thought is that perhaps the sitemgr tables
don't exist.  Did you install the app via the phpgw setup program?  Do you
have some way in which you can check to be sure the tables exist?
