[Phpgroupware-users] Sitemgr config problem

Subject: [Phpgroupware-users] Sitemgr config problem

The behaviour you describe when saving defaults is nothing like what I
have experienced. I can fill in all of the variables - URL, path, site
name, etc and then click save. The screen refreshes and comes back to the
same setup screen and none of the variables I entered are shown.

For categories, the same thing happens. I click the add button and the
screen refreshes - the same categories page comes back - no error messages
or anything.

I have copied and edited the config.inc.php file - the only variables
suggested to be changed are path to phpgw and htaccess feature. I have
edited the path to phpgw and left htaccess disabled. There are no other
varibales to be edited in the top section. I read instructions somewhere
whoich suggested other variables should be put here, but the template file
included in the tarball only had the 2 above.

The variables I enter for account/password are the default variables -
i.e. user anonymous, password anonymous. I tried other combinations as
well but no luck.

Regards,

Brett

that means, you get a blank page? or any error message?

this is strange, the version of sitemgr released with 0.9.14.001 had
that particularity that when you entered the=20
"Filesystem path to sitemgr-site directory", you had to save and then
go to the administrative menu and then go back to the setup page in
order to see the templates you can choose, but all other values should
be immediately visible, and once you see the templates and choose the
one you need, there should be no problem.

When you save, you should see "Changes saved" and all the values you
entered, besided the little quirk with templates (which is corrected
in CVS now).

probably the name of the anonymous user and its password do not match
with the values you entered in the setup form.

Hope that helps,

Michael
