Sorry I haven't weighed in on the flurry of SiteMgr e-mails on the list
yet. I just got back tonight from a month on the road.
Yes, there is a drawback or two to using db sessions instead of php
sessions. If your site is a high traffic site, your mysql server may become
overloaded. On the phpgroupware.org site when db sessions were used during
high traffic times the mysql sessions database would occasionally become
corrupted. A strange issue, to be sure, but a potentially large problem.
Let me know what happens when you upgrade PHP.
