You can use agui cvs client, one of which is at http://www.wincvs.org/, or use
command line one.

I once found this http://free-source.com/files/cvs.exe command line one but I 
have
no idea where I got it and I have not been able to find an offical site for it
since.  It works just like the Unix cvs command but dosn't quite all the 
features,
it does all the basic features for doing a checkout and update though.
