I'm not sure what you mean by:

It is not selected for the "groupware" group.

Try going Applications-->User Groups-->(groupware)Edit

and make sure the checkbox Administration is unchecked. Then to make sure,
go to
Administration-->User Accounts and make sure that every user also has
Administration unchecked, because a user setting can overrride a group
setting.
BTW this is not intuitively laid out. I think everyone has the same basic problem when first learning how to administor this program. Each user account should have a choice called "use group settings" which will clear all of the checkboxes on the user account.

As added security, the administration module should be ineffective when run by a user who is not an administrator, even if the administrator box is checked.

Subject: [Phpgroupware-users] Administration app access

Hello,

I have a little problem with the administration app access.
I have two groups with users.
The "admins" group has only one user : admin.
The "groupware" group has 5 users.

I am connected as "admin" : the application "administration" is selected. It
is not selected for the "groupware" group.

The problem is that the "groupware" users can access the application app and
so modify the configuration...

Did I forget something ??? :-(

Bye

Gilles
