did you change the default size of the text datatype?

in mysql the session content field is a longtext, which is L+4 bytes, where L
< 2^32 (L being the size fo the content) or a max of 4,294,967,296 bytes (4.2
Gig? wow).  Using the email app the session can get quite big because it's
caching your mailbox to greatly improve speed.
