OK, I've found a tool (cvsgrab - thanks to the programmer!) to grab the cvs
from behind the proxy.
Can you give me the full command?
Here's a sample file
cvsgrab -rootUrl http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cvsgrab/
-package cvsgrab -destDir . -prune true

I think something like this?
cvsgrab -rootUrl http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/phpgroupware
-package phpgroupware -destDir .../phpgroupware/what_else_? -prune true

thanks angela
