[Phpgroupware-users] problems with email attachments over ssl

hey all,

i am running the latest phpgroupware tarball (actually i have tested all the 
back to the 12.x rev) and i am having problems viewing email attachments. 
when i click on the attachment i get the following error message in ie:

Internet Explorer cannot download from my.host.com

Internet Explorer was not able to open the internet site. The requested site 
is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

The weird thing is it only seems to do it on binary type files (like word, 
excel, or something other than plain text). is it because i am running over 
ssl? shouldn't make a difference.

any ideas?
