Heya all,



First, notice that there is no news_admin category in this bug tracker :).



Then, When putting French letter like é, they are wrongly displayed in the
subject line (we get &eacute;).



I just have a WA now (see patch attached), because I'm not sure if this is
the good way to solve it :

to be clear, in the write_news function there is a call to strip_html() for
the subject. I put after a line :

with  preg_replace('/&amp;/i', '&$1', $subject); to restore a good behavior
without a noticeable break down (I hope).



I notice that this function is not called in other code that display the
title ... why ??
