Summary: fsockopen function disabled

Original Submission: This is a great program. My thanks to those who have
made it possible and have made it so easy to set up.

I am now trying to set up email, but my web hosting is with Yahoo and they have
disabled the "fsockopen" function. I am new to PHP and don't know if it is
possible to modify the phpgroupware/ email/ inc/ class.mail_send.inc.php file
to use the "mail()" function instead of the "fsockopen" function. Even if it
is possible, I wouldn't know where to begin.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, how did you work around the
disabled "fsockopen" function?

Thanks,

Victor
