Brad,

Have you tested this? I want to get 001 out and can't until this is fixed.

Cheers

Dave

Category: API - Setup
Item Group: 0.9.16.001
Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: 7 - High
Resolution: Works for me
Assigned to: skwashd
Status: Open
Component Version: DEB
Platform Version: GNU/Linux - Debian
Reproducibility: Every Time

Summary: ldapmodify.php uses old ldap schema

Original Submission: ldapmodify.php is completely broken for 0.9.16.
It uses the wrong attribute types. eg phpgwAccountType

I think it should be removed if it can't be fixed quickly.

Attached is a patch to fix this. I hosed my LDAP server 4 times getting it
work properly. I have tested it a few times now, and it works as intended.

As we are about to release 0.9.16.001 shortly I need someone to test this one
before committing it to CVS.

Download the patch to your home directory
Run the following commands
cd /path/to/phpgw/setup
patch -p0 <~/ldapmodify.diff
Do a full LDAP dump to ldif - just in case
Test the script
Report back here the results.

On my list this one is a blocker for 001, so please test quickly but thorougly.

Cheers

Dave
