Original Submission:  This bug was already mentioned in [bugs #6509] "Wiki 
Search redirects to login with "Session can't be verified"" (this bug report is 
closed and searching works for me):

When not using cookies to store session IDs, trying to compute the difference 
of two versions redirects to the login page since the session could not be 
verified.
