Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted by: Harri Vartiainen

Category: calendar
Item Group: 0.9.16.000 release
Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: 3 - Low
Resolution: Fixed
Assigned to: skwashd
Status: Closed
Component Version: CVS
Platform Version: GNU/Linux - RedHat/Fedora
Reproducibility: Every Time

Summary: Invalid characters in notify mails header

Original Submission: If there is "special" characters (like 'ä', 'ö', common
in finnish) in the title of calendar event the Subject line gets encoded
wrongly, extra ^M gets appended to the end of line.

Example:

Subject: Calendar Event - Added: 30.06.2004 - 08:00 STMP
=?iso-8859-1?Q?p=E4ivitykset^M?=

This distracts at least mailsystems with QMailScanner installed, because this
is malformed and QMailScanner treats the message as potential spam.
