Hmmmm ... iirc there is an option in admin->site config which allows you to set 
the proxy server.  I will double check it, I use a transparent proxy, so will 
be a little more difficult to test.

Original Submission:  Headlines does not use any http proxy settings. Therefore 
it cannot be used behind a firewall which blocks port 80 or does not do any 
routing nor NAT.
