When I click on the email app this repeats over and over. Using RH.9...

There is a known issue with the RH7.3+ php-imap RPM, it tries to use tls by 
default.  



Although the error looks like you haven't set the hostname for the mailserver.

Yes I have, also I have had the same issue with eGroupware and MoreGroupware. I 
believe that this may not be a *Groupware issue, my server is a RH9 with an 
"Everything" install, trying to cut corners and may have shot myself in the 
foot. I am going to scrap RH and move to FreeBSD, more familiar to me and I 
have had better luck with it.



I'll post my results, however the other few users that are having this same 
issue are using RedHat as well so it is looking like an RPM issue.

Have you set the admin->mail->site_configuration properly ?

(choose pop3, etc ...)

BTW: I am attempting to use a Pop3 server, so IMAP shouldn't be used. Also am 
using Apache2

Server: Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux)
