In the addressbook, it would be great to be able to 

keep a running history log of the people/companies in 

it. For example, John Jones. He calls, I insert a note 

about what he is calling in for. A few hours later, I 

follow up with him. I can document the info. It's 

date/time stamped. Now a week goes by, John calls 

back. The person taking the call can review the info 

that was typed in originally. This history log should 

be able to be viewed by all, updated by maintainer of 

the customer contact and/or by system admin.



Just about every groupware product has something close 

to this (usually called a note), but is not directly 

linked to the customer/company in the addressbook. If 

this would get added in, people that use GoldMine or 

ACT! will most likely switch over to phpgroupware.
