Summary: SMTP server requires authentication

Browser: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)
By changing the Administrator setting for Email -> Site
Configuration, I got mine working by entering the SMTP
server name of "localhost". This made the connection more
direct, rather than the program assuming a machine-to-
machine relay.

Are there currently plans to offer SMTP server
authentication? I am using phpGroupWare as a client for
an external IMAP server, but it won't let me send
E-Mail. The error message tells me that "relay access
is denied" which tells me that I need to authenticate
before I can send. Let me know if you have any
questions. Thanks in advance,
Duane
