=================== BUG #4178: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================

Submitted by: weaky                   Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Thu 07/03/2003 at 13:38
Category: API - Setup Bug Group: 0.9.16 pre RC
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: Normal
Resolution:  Fixed                    Assigned to:  ralfbecker
Status:  Closed                       Component Version:  None
Platform Version: Linux - RedHat Reproducibility: Every Time

Summary: Error specifying files directory in setup config

Original Submission: My docroot = /www
My files dir = /www-files

Run setup -> Edit Current Configuration
Attempt specify files directory as /www-files. Attempting to submit - get the
error: Path to user and group files HAS TO BE OUTSIDE of the webservers
document-root!!!*

I would imagine whatever validation is just seeing the /www & assuming it is
inside the docroot.
