I've done some work toward this end and have inquired 
about getting it folded into the source code for 9.16.

Would be nice to have the option to change the sort
order of the users dropdown box in calendar without
changing the source code. For large amount of users
where the LoginID doesn't have the same order as Last
Name it is difficult to locate the desidered user.
