I never heard of that prob. with the calendar. The code line you gave
phpgwapi/inc/class.preferences.inc.php, line 583, is the call create the
default email-preferences. Do you have the email app installed? Do you have
mail-notifications enabled in your calendar prefs.
Btw. there is a newer version 0.9.14.003 availible, but I dont think the your
prob. has to do with the .002 version. Still I fixed some bugs in the new
version, and its worth updateing.

Original Submission: is always get an error when i write something in my
calendar. The entry is stored correctly, but the message does not look very
good.
